Model of a Scientist Salarian

The Salarian scurries around his lab, moving around vials full of things unfamiliar to you. His mumbling occasionally becomes coherent enough to make out mostly gibberish sentences as he works on his latest experiments and projects. You'll have to get his attention if you wish to speak to him.

The Salarian draws his attention away from his work and to the visitor. He smiles at the sight of Shepard and opens up his arms in a welcoming gesture. “Ah, Shepard! Need something? Or just visiting?”

"Just checking in on you." She looks over at his work. "Making sure you have blown anything up yet."

"Blowing up lab seems… counterproductive," he says, silently looking over his lab for a moment. "Besides," he continues, "past experiences indicate you are typical cause for explosions."

He turns his back to Shepard and continues working, tapping away at a holographic keyboard. He gives a small turn of his head to speak to Shepard, not taking his eyes off his work. “How’s crew?”

The commander scoffed and rolled her eyes. “Only sometimes…” She watched Mordin tap his keyboard. “They’re fine, Jack and Miranda finally stopped yelling at each other. I honestly feel more like a babysitter than a commander,” she whined.

"Weekly does not qualify as ‘sometimes’," he corrected, shaking his head at the Commander’s childish behavior. Off-duty, it was easy to forget that this was the same woman that he’d seen tear through waves of Collectors.

He sighed in frustration at the thought of Miranda and Jack. They had caused significant damage to the Normandy on multiple occasions. “Good. They can be… problematic.”
